Down The Hall And Into The Street

It’s my favorite day of the week again.

And I can already tell you it’s going to be a beautiful day.

And it looks like it should be a beautiful weekend, too.

Ace.

Tomorrow, our dear friends Anne and Ryan are getting married.

They are pretty much the absolute best people we have ever met.

So kind. So funny. So great.

It should be a wonderful time.

And also- the first wedding I will attend that isn’t a friend of my Dad’s!!

{not that they aren’t kind of my friends, too… but still. This is kind of a big deal}

And then after the wedding {I know, big night} we are going to Second Saturday.

See, we do this thing in Denver called First Friday, where all of the galleries around town open up and it’s kind of a pub/art/musicy crawl.

Looks like we are milking that shit for all it’s worth with our Second Saturday sloppy seconds. Geez.

{I just know someone’s like, “Dude. Third Thursday. It’s gonna happen.”}

But alas, that too should be fun.

It’s just all kinds fun all over the place.

And how’s about this Western Germany necklace?

Take that, Berlin Wall.

Although this necklace doesn’t really bring to mind ideas of reunification or communism, it does look like candy.

And I do want to eat it.

AND.

On a completely unrelated note:

I have some bloopers for you today.

Again, I tried to navigate the icy snow on the roof for photos.

This is what followed:

You’d think that being a Libra I would have better balancing skills.

Not so, folks.

Not so at all.

Pumps: Steve Madden Luxe :: Tights: ? :: Thigh-Highs: Walgreens :: Shorts + Sweater: Forever21 :: Blazer + Necklace: Thrifted

And this is the aftermath.

I’m doing the squealy I-have-so-much-snow-in-my-fucking-shoes-right-now dance.

It’s one of my specialties.

And with THAT friends, I bid you all the most sleeping until nooningist, watching old cartooningist, eating peanut butter with a spooningist, holding up an old-timey salooningist, riding a babooningist weekends of your lives!!!

  • Jordan says:

    This is a great outfit! You’re a trooper in that snow.

    We also have Second Saturday in Sacramento, CA. They extended the events to “Third Saturday”, I believe — apparently this city doesn’t understand the true glory of alliteration.

    • Haiku Ambulance says:

      It’s funny because I was trying to link to our local SS, but the only thing I could really find was Sacramento’s Second Saturday!

      You may not get alliteration, but we just steal our ideas, so…. :)

      Thanks for the comment!

    so what is so german about this necklace? i am german … and this yellowish thing doesn’t looks too german to me. it could be from every other country aswell. … ; )

    • Haiku Ambulance says:

      Thank you so much!!

      The necklace is really interesting. It is stamped Western Germany on the back of the clasp. The beads are actually plastic I think, but they look like they have powdered sugar on them. The colors are very strange, but I was drawn to it no less. Perhaps just the hardware is German…?

      Interesting :)

    Seriously Zoe, your style is anything but stale. Azrielle, go suck an egg. Not all of us have unlimited funds, and can afford to entertain you.

  • paige says:

    woah. some people have balls. but old, dirty, crusty ones…and that’s why they are so miserable. who wants olddirtycrusty balls?

  • Merl the red headed squirrel says:

    Can someone send the hater my way?? EVERYONE knows you aren’t really popular until you get a mean comment. You should print it out and frame it. Wait.. I’ll do it for you. And sneak some cat hair behind the glass.

    You are a brave soul for tramping through that snow with fucking heels on. I haven’t even worn my regular boots lately since snow wet feet are on my top 5 things that send merl into the red zone.

    But the bag? Ya I’m totally sick of the bag. Like.. Boooring.

    And people tell me I’m not funny……..

  • Chelsea says:

    I have to say I agree with Merl that haters just means people love you. And sad people hate to see that. And unfortunately there is no link for us to check her out!!

You're looking super beautiful and/or handsome today.
